Tool mitigates drawing-related tendonitis by reducing repetitive load on the wrist extensor muscles. It supports injured muscles by limiting sustained gripping and decreasing wrist flexion, allowing longer sessions with less muscular strain.
Control is shifted away from the fingers and the small muscles/tendons responsible for fine gripping. Movement is driven from the arm rather than the wrist, engaging larger muscle groups that are generally less prone to overuse.
Evaluated by Dr. Sarah J. De Preter, D.C. Determined safe for long-term use by supporting neutral biomechanics.
Used during first-year, Semester 1 drawing classes in response to a drawing-related injury.
